Without the luxury of being close to hospitals or having easy access to fresh food and running water, the indigenous communities living on Turtle Island (also known as the USA) have been particularly vulnerable due to the COVID-19 pandemic. By working with the Hopi, Apache, Diné (Navajo), and Tohono O’odham community leaders, we have already raised $42,000 via the Native American COVID-19 Relief Fund ~ which contributed towards food and water packages, organic hand sanitizer, and financial support for medical needs.
