The only way to travel into the Amazon Forest is on the river. The Yawanawa live in many different villages and need boats to stay connected. Boats are also used for hunting expeditions, and to buy essential goods in nearby towns. The Boa Foundation secured the funds for the purchase of eight outboard motor canoes for the Nova Esperanza community.
